How to Fish in Alife Virtual

Follow these simple steps to start your fishing adventure

Locate the Fishing Bait Shop

Find the Fishing Bait Shop building in the fishing area. Look for signs and ask other fishers for directions!

Register for Fishing

Click on the shop building, then click "Signup" in the menu that appears. This registers you in the fishing system.

Purchase Bait

Click on the shop again to access the bait purchase menu.

Available Bait Quantities:
  • 100 units - Great for beginners
  • 500 units - Recommended for regular fishing
  • 900 units - Best value for serious anglers

Tip: Start with 100 units to learn the system before investing in larger quantities!

Get Your Fishing Rod

Find a chair near a fishing buoy and click to sit down. Accept the fishing rod when prompted.

Equip Your Fishing Rod

  1. Open your Inventory (Ctrl+I)
  2. Navigate to the "Objects" folder
  3. Right-click on the fishing rod
  4. Select "Add" to equip it

Start Fishing!

Left-click on the nearest Fishing Buoy to begin fishing.

Patience is Key! Wait a few minutes until you catch a fish or other object. Enjoy the peaceful scenery while you wait!

Pro Tip: Chat with other fishers while waiting for your catch. The fishing community is very friendly!

Find the Fishing Buyer Shop

Stand up from your chair and locate the Fishing Buyer Shop. This is where you sell your catches for currency!

Sell Your Fish

  1. Left-click on the Fishing Buyer Shop
  2. A list will show all fish types you've caught
  3. Click on the fish type you want to sell
  4. The system automatically pays you the value!

Check the Status Board

View the fishing board to track your progress:

  • Total fish caught
  • Remaining bait quantity
  • Total earnings
Remember: Different fish types have different values. Rare catches earn you more currency!
