How to Race in Alife Virtual

Follow these 3 easy steps to start your racing career

Register as a Racer

Before you can race, you need to register in the system.

How to Register:

Touch the RACING BOARD (the leaderboard display)
Click the "Register" button in the menu
Wait for confirmation: "Registration successful!"

You only need to register once - your account is permanent!

Buy Gas ⛽

You need gas to race! Each checkpoint uses 5 gas, so one complete lap uses 40 gas total (5 gas × 8 checkpoints).

Gas Packages:

📦 SMALL: 10 Gas = 100 C$ (2 checkpoints)
📦 MEDIUM ⭐: 50 Gas = 500 C$ (1.25 laps)
📦 LARGE 🔥: 100 Gas = 1000 C$ (2.5 laps)

How to Buy:

Find the GAS STATION (⛽ GAS STATION ⛽)
Touch the Gas Station
Choose your package from the menu
C$ cost is automatically deducted

💡 TIP: Multiple gas stations around the circuit - no need to go back to start!

Now you're ready to race!

Racing Instructions:

Get on your motorcycle
Drive to Checkpoint 1 (Start/Finish line)
Pass ALL 8 checkpoints IN ORDER: 1→2→3→4→5→6→7→8
Watch for messages as you pass each checkpoint
Complete Checkpoint 8 to finish your lap!

🏁 LAP COMPLETE: When you finish, you'll see your lap time. Beat your best time to set a new record!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: You CANNOT pass checkpoints without gas! Refuel if you run out.

Understanding the 8-Checkpoint System

Master the circuit for fastest lap times

The 8 Checkpoints

✓ Checkpoint 1: Start Line (timing begins!)
✓ Checkpoints 2-7: The racing circuit
✓ Checkpoint 8: Finish Line (completes the lap!)

Gas Consumption:

Each checkpoint = 5 gas consumed
8 checkpoints × 5 gas = 40 gas per lap
Monitor your gas level - don't run out mid-lap!

Important Rules

You MUST pass all 8 checkpoints in numerical order
Skipping a checkpoint means the lap won't count
Each checkpoint validates you passed the previous ones
Checkpoint 8 validates ALL previous checkpoints before finishing
After completing a lap, checkpoint times reset automatically
You can immediately start your next lap from Checkpoint 1

What it means:

# = Your rank (1 is fastest!)
Name = Your avatar name
L:# = Total laps completed (L:5 = 5 laps)
T:### = Best lap time in SECONDS (T:252 = 252 seconds)
(X/8) = Current lap progress (passed X out of 8 checkpoints)
G:### = Gas remaining (G:45 = you have 45 gas left)

Calculate Your Needs

1 lap = 40 gas (8 checkpoints × 5 gas)
10 gas package = 0.25 laps (2 checkpoints)
50 gas package = 1.25 laps (10 checkpoints)
100 gas package = 2.5 laps (20 checkpoints)

There are MULTIPLE gas stations around the racing circuit!

Look for "⛽ GAS STATION ⛽" floating text
You don't have to go back to the start
Refuel at the nearest station when low
